A few weeks ago, Mojang announced that Minecon 2015 will be hosted in London this year! There will only be 5,000 tickets available to purchase, at £129 for both Saturday and Sunday admission. The first batch of tickets will go on sale on Friday March 27th at 6pm, and the second batch on Saturday 28th at 12pm GMT. There will be a lot to cram in in those two days, with tons of panels, lots of exhibitors and a party on saturday night. There will also be the traditional fancy dress contest, and after seeing what has been produced in previous years, we look forward to seeing what will be shown off this time!

Buying a ticket isn’t your only chance to be part of Minecon however, if you’re over 18 years old, you can volunteer to become a Minecon agent. You can fill in the form on the Mojang website, and if you get chosen, means you will not need to purchase a ticket, and get to attend one day of your choice to help the event run smoothly.

Even if you can’t attend the event in person, there will be live streams that will run throughout the convention to bring all you Minecraft fans a piece of the action! All the panel events will also be uploaded to YouTube, as well as some videos capturing the fun of the event.
