The next major Resident Evil has been unveiled and it marks a dramatic departure for the long-running horror series.

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is heading into a first-person perspective, seemingly taking inspiration from Konami’s cancelled Silent Hills. Instead of maintaining a focus on over-the-top action, RE7 will head back to its roots while attempting to soil your pants.

PlayStation Plus members can download the “Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour” demo right now, as they try to escape a haunted house. The game was unveiled during Sony’s E3 press conference and confirmed to be entirely playable in PlayStation VR.

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is scheduled to arrive on January 24th 2017.
