With Arkham Knight scheduled for three more batches of DLC and detailed in a recent community update, some important news regarding Batmobiles may have passed some people by.

Rocksteady Studio’s latest community update mentions the ability to drive all Batmobiles around Gotham City in conditional free-roam.

This means that players will be able to pilot any of the previously race-track-ridden Batmobiles and tear up the streets of Gotham. After confirming the upcoming feature with Warner Bros. Interactive, the company also stated that car selection would only be made available after a certain point in the game.

No information is known as to how driving any of the downloadable cars will differ to the Arkham Knight Batmobile, but we’re suspecting that scaling walls or ejecting won’t be on the cards.

Here’s hoping that every car will have an electric barrier implemented, otherwise Batman’s one rule may be about to get broken very soon.
