If you’ve finished The Evil Within and were left wanting more, then you might be happy to hear that part one of its long-overdue story expansion, is out next month.

The Assignment will follow Sebastian Castellanos’ mysterious partner, Juli Kidman. With Kidman being M.I.A for most of the campaign, many questions remain unanswered as to her whereabouts.

With new enemies and scares promised, hopefully this first expansion will take a few more risks with its scare tactics? We found The Evil Within ‘Good Fun’ in our review, make sure to check it out if you haven’t already.

The Assignment — which is part one of two for the story-expansion — will be released on March 10th for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC, whilst PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 will receive the content a day later on March 11th. Those who already own the season pass, priced at £14.99, will be able to download the add-on at no extra charge, whereas those looking to purchase it separately can do so for £6.99.
