For those of you who don’t know, The Witness is the successor to Braid, one of the most influential and successful indie puzzle games to date.

Now, creator Jonathan Blow has confirmed the release date of his next game, after spending years on its development.

Set to hit PlayStation 4 on January 26th 2016 as a timed console exclusive, Blow says The Witness will provide an “intricate and deep” experience, unlike anything you’ve played before.

Comprising of a colourful and lively world, filled with puzzles and mystery, I believe him.
