Kazunori Yamauchi has claimed that the hotly anticipated Gran Turismo 7 will be coming to PlayStation in 2015 or 2016, and has also claimed that developing for PS4 is ‘much easier’ than development on PS3. He has also expressed that everything “will be running naturally,” on the Sony system. Yamauchi stated that, “PS3 was much, much more difficult. The high quality of data that we have being rendered on the PS4 I think is going to make an incredible difference.” The developer was also quoted saying that his team have a “clear vision” for the game and aim to add things that couldn’t be done on the PS3.

On a personal note, I am very excited to see what the Gran Turismo series can conjure up when the power of the PS4 is truly utilized, and cannot wait to get my hands on this game. I wonder how it will stand when compared to the Driveclub’s and Forza’s of this world. Only time will tell.
