A sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us was officially announced earlier in the week, but now Injustice 2 has received some juicy gameplay.

An official link from Warner Bros. isn’t available yet, since it was streamed, but Kotaku have captured what was shown.

With a good look at Batman, Superman and a whole host of other DC characters – Grodd for the win! – Injustice 2 is looking set to improve on the original and maintain the brutal gameplay its developer, NetherRealm Studios, is known for.

Creative Director, Ed Boon, revealed that Injustice 2 will leave out fatalities – as expected.

Injustice 2 will release in 2017. You can probably expect a hands-on during Gamescom 2016, fingers crossed.
