After missing its initial July release date, Return to Arkham has officially been reassigned to October 21st.

The collection features remastered versions of both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City; upgrading the in-game textures, lighting and character models.

Original developer, Rocksteady, aren’t handling the remake. Instead the prestigious job has been left to Virtuos, a company that specialises in remasters.

A brand new comparison trailer has also been released, highlighting the differences between the originals on PlayStation 3, versus their new PlayStation 4 counterparts.

The most noticeable difference in my eyes is the addition of rain in Arkham Asylum. It makes for a much moodier atmosphere, and certainly helps bring the external areas to life like never before.
