Square-Enix has revealed that the timed-exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider will be making its way to PC and PS4 in 2016.

Despite no exact date as of yet, Crystal Dynamics’ latest Lara Croft adventure will hit PC in early 2016, while PlayStation players will have to make do with a late 2016 release, giving Microsoft an entire year of exclusivity.

Ever since its initial unveiling during E3 2014, the developers have remained tight lipped on its exclusivity, but now it seems they’re ready to open up. Regardless of Lara’s delay on Sony turf, by the time Rise of the Tomb Raider does release, players will already have Uncharted 4 in their hands, so maybe the late arrival from the original Tomb dweller may be a little lacklustre?

Who knows, though we’ll be sure to give Lara a run for her money once she arrives first on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10th 2015.

Does it bother you that Lara’s next bout of Tombing will see a major delay on PlayStation?
