Okay remasters may be getting “a bit” out of hand, but this one is too hard to pass up.

In quite possibly one of the best moves ever, Bethesda Softworks announced during their E3 press conference that Skyrim will be getting a major remaster this October.

As you’ll notice from the reveal trailer below, everything in the game has received a huge graphical overhaul. Not only that, but a whole roster of mods will also be included; being able to be turned on and off at the click of a button.

Head to 3.06 on the video to skip past the Fallout 4 news.

My experience on PS3 was certainly waylaid by its graphical glitches and issues, so getting the chance to head back into this beautiful world in a smooth remaster is definitely exciting.

Skyrim: Special Edition will release on October 28th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
