You know what to do! Head over to the Kickstarter Page and smash those goals!

Original story…

It’s been less than a day, and already Playtonic’s spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee, has hit over £1,000,000 – an amount that reaches FAR beyond its original target of £175,000.

3D platformers are a little sparse at the moment, which is exactly why Playtonic Games have decided to give fans of the N64’s Banjo-Kazooie, exactly what they’ve been waiting for. The license for Banjo may reside in the now Xbox-owned Rare, but seeing as Playtonic consist mainly of ex-Rare staff, Yooka-Laylee has the perfect footing to become an absolute gem.

With such an incredible amount funded in less than 24hrs, you can still opt to back the project and receive a plethora of goodies. It is not yet known whether there are going to be extra goals, seeing as all of them has been reached.

Head over to the Kickstarter Page now, where you pledge money to get into the title’s credits, receive a copy of the game upon release, and even voice a character in the game!

Yooka-Laylee will be released in late 2016 for PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PC, Linux, Windows and Mac.
