Well, isn’t this good news.

Talking with IGN’s Luke Karmalli ahead of the BAFTA Game Awards in London, Respawn Entertainment Founder and CEO, Vince Zampella, confirmed the development of Titanfall 2, alongside the fact that the series is headed to PlayStation platforms for the first time.

When asked the question regarding Titanfall’s future, Zampella had the following to say.

“I guess EA announced a sequel, so I could play coy and pretend I don’t know anything about it, or… yeah. So we’re working on a sequel. No official name yet, but we’re working on that. That’s the main focus but we’re starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow! It’ll be multiplatform.”

So there you have it. As to why Zampella was so open about details surrounding the game, he had just come off of a flight from America, I guess jet lag is the key to information.

Now all we need is Gabe Newell to be interviewed with jet lag.
