In a bizarre turn of events someone has uncovered an unannounced South Park game, originally in development for the PlayStation 2 and original Xbox.

Located on an old Xbox Dev kit, its owner was surprised to find an incomplete South Park game, the first footage of which came from a YouTuber named Wafflefoot Games back in 2014

HappyConsoleGamer hit the headlines by showcasing a ton of footage from the unreleased title.

The game itself is a huge mess, full of rough textures and half-baked levels, but some key features such as a split screen mode and controllable vehicles do exist. Seemingly carrying on the same visual style as the N64 South Park titles, this game looked set to include elements similar to The Simpson: Road Rage.

Overall it seems the game suffered a quiet death, as its original developer Buzz Monkey Software moved on to various Tomb Raider games before being acquired by Zynga in 2012.

Luckily, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have redeemed their gaming ventures, releasing the critically acclaimed South Park: The Stick of Truth and also following it up with a sequel due in 2016.
