It seems as though dreams really do come true…

In the latest update to survival horror title ‘The Evil Within’ players are now able to remove the black bars on-screen, allowing the game to be played in full-screen for the first time! Previously only available through the PC version, every platform has now been given the update.

The very fact that this is news-worthy is a bit silly, really. The option to disable the forced aspect ratio that limited your view, should have been optional in the first place. Heck, I even noted it as a negative point in every review I did for the title, and it certainly affect my score.

I like to think that I had something to do with its implementation, though, I’m just happy this came to pass.

Anyhow, THANK YOU to the developers at Tango Gameworks. I think I’m going to enjoy the game a lot more now.
