Marking the first move away from Microsoft-based systems, the massively multiplayer tank game, World of Tanks, has been confirmed to hit Playstation 4 soon.

Featuring 30-player tank battles and up to 350 different tanks to choose from, players are able to partake in epic fights against other armour-cladded vehicles.

Unlike the Xbox One version of the game, wherein you need an Xbox Live subscription to play, World of Tanks will be free-to-play for any PlayStation 4 players regardless of whether they have PlayStation Plus or not, though those who do will gain additional rewards.

No date has been given, but we expect WoT to hit PS4 nearer the end of 2015.
