Yooka-Laylee is the one and only video game I’ve backed on Kickstarter, so it’s reassuring to see such great progress via its first full trailer, below.

Encompassing the spirit of the original N64 classic, Banjo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee is being developed by a number of people who originally worked on the series back in the 90s.

Thought I’ve yet to play it personally, the trailer below is definitely giving me the old-school vibe. Hopefully upon release I’ll be transported back to the good ol’ days of the Nintendo 64.

I can already feel the nostalgia.

Yooka-Laylee has been delayed from its initial 2016 release to sometime in Q1 2017. The game will release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
